Muthu Oban Regent Hotel

Absolutely 1st class. This hotel is an absolute gem and a great find. The staff are so helpful and kind. The food is great. The refurbished rooms and public areas are fantastic. The outside of the hotel is a bit outdated but do not let this put you off. This hotel on the promenade, it's inside features, rooms, facilities, dining and staff are worthy of a 4 star rating .

We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel. The exterior looks tired and pales in comparison to surrounding hotels. However, our room was comfortable, roomy and the washroom had more room than most hotels we stayed in, in Scotland. The dining room is large and the buffet breakfast lovely. Parking lot is directly across the street. Would definitely recommend.

The view is stunning, the room is of average size. They offer good coffee corner in the rooms. They serve English breakfast in the buffet. The reception is spacious with good furniture. Loved our stay but we only stayed one night.

Stayed recently in March for 2 nights in Bay View Room. The room was beautifully refurbished and had everything you need. Bed was very comfortable and good size shower. The location is PERFECT close to everything. Restaurants, pubs and shops. We did not use the car while we stayed there. Special mention to the staff at the desk. Exceptional service. They truly try to make our stay happy and comfortable.

Originally booked the Alexandra but got moved to the regent due to works. When we pulled up initially thought it was going to be a disaster as the building didnt look great from the outside however once we went in it was lovely. Reception area nice and very friendly staff. Our room was lovely looking over the water and the bed was very comfy! Quiet aswell. Had breakfast the next day which was nice and the restaurant was lovely and very clean. I would return here.

Really spacious room and bathroom. Very clean and had all the in-room facilities you'd hope for. Nicely decorated and had a great view. Staff were really helpful. There's some free parking right outside the hotel but we didn't want to potentially be blocked in by other cars so we used the car park right across the street which wasn't that expensive.

Hotel looks tired from the outside but had a really lovely room on the 3rd floor. Very friendly, helpful staff. The only thing that lets this place down is the cooked breakfast .... very dry and overcooked. Enjoyed our stay though.
